Skillsfuture earn & learn programme is a work-study programme designed to give fresh graduates from polytechnics and the institute of technical education (ITE) a head-start in careers related to their discipline of study.

Eligibility for Participation under SkillsFuture ELP

Participant Company
Citizenship Singaporean – Eligible for Sign-on Incentive Must be a Singapore registered organisation
PR – Not Eligible for Sign-on Incentive Willing to sign into a Letter of Offer (LOO) before commencement of ELP
Fresh Graduates Fresh graduate from the ITE or Poly, within 36* months of graduation date or ORD will be eligible for Sign-on Incentive*with effect from 28 July 2017, previously was 12 months

Able to meet and deliver

  • Availability of suitable vacancies targeted under the programme
  • In-house capability and capacity to conduct structured workplace learning
  • Ability to commit resources to support the programme through provision of qualified mentors and trainers, workplace learning opportunities, and human resource support
  • Willingness to provide career development and progression opportunities and competitive wages to trainee
No prior work experiences required
Selection is based on interview and CV for fresh hires
Existing Employees Employees who have graduated from ITE/polytechnic but within 5 years from the date of graduation or ORD may also apply for ELP*with effect from 28 July 2017, previously was 12 months
Existing employees meet the fresh graduate definition are eligible for Sign-on Incentive
